2. I think i have mentioned in my earlier post about our etnic group (Kayan Kenyah) are well known for our bead works arts. Below are some of the bead works by some our women courtesy of www.wireblissmei.com

You can imagine the tedious and many hours spent to make a master piece like that and i still remember how my grandma used to say that she would love to leave something of herself behind for her great grandchildren to see,( that is her master piece of bead works). She will always be in our hearts even though she has long gone for years now. The bead works are her legacy and a symbol of love to us that will never be replaced by anything else. That's why handmade things are the best - it's like a love story like our motto: "handmade by love inspired by life!"

AN URGENT TO DO LIST

I really would love to get back to my jewelry making and this is the plan to get my life more exciting - AN URGENT TO DO LIST : 1- Update my etsy shop and put at least 20-30 items 2- Update my blog on the process 3- Make tutorial for this blog 4- Make a giveaway when my blog reach 50 folowers 5- Update my blog at least twice a week 6- Visit other blogs and make cyber friends i am a very boring person when i don't have any projects/crafts...to get myself motivated and happy, that is the plan and i hope you will support me as well by being a follower and God bless you in return..LOL!! life is no fun when you don't put some drama/emo into your blog, i guess..:) Until then, take care and have a nice weekend! i'm linking to Rhonda from down to earth and on my mind today is my blog and my to do list

i love to update my header but the content is kinda outdated and i don't update it everyday. I will try to update it at least twice a week. Been trying to create a button for my blog as well and this is the result:

I really love to catch up on my crafts and my projects but no time to do anything else. My schedule is very tight everyday. i leave home around 7.40am and come back at 5.00pm. The rest of the evening i'll spend with my 2 year old boy until we go to bed around 11.00pm. So.......no time for anything else. They plan of me becoming a Homemaker is frequently discuss but not the right time yet due to financial constraints and responsibilities.

List to do - October till December 2011

I am not a list person but TH is a list person and when ms disorganise mix with mr organise = CHAOTIC!
in the end..i am beginning to develop this habit too. I will say that i like to do list and the dilemma i'll have when i have too many note books that i don't keep track of the list since sometimes i misplace those books..aha..

this list i found here...and this is the important of to do list if you haven't know yet here and i would love to have my own list as well..a simple one like me..ahaha..this list is an average guide only:



1- Get myself organise each day!
2- Get my house organise - throughout the year!
3- Get myself a part time business -
4- Learn new crafting -sewing, wired jewelry,beads making
5- Learn to blog and update my blog twice a week-aha!
6- God first and center of my life-spend time reading bible and pray 
    30minutes  everyday
7- Improve myself by reading motivational books and attending
    seminars/courses
8 - Finishing my Jurisprudence Degree by 2012- 4 more subjects
9 - Make own furniture -DIY from Ana White plans
10- Make a fake fireplace up before Christmas



11-  Pray - for my husband/son/family daily
12- Cook at home every nite - Monday to Saturday
13- Try new recipes- bake cakes(5), new dishes(10)
14- Buy sarees for MIL
15- Prepare activities/gifts for Christmas
16- Plan son's birthday
17- Make a dress for my mom


18 - Go to the theatre
19 - Go for vacation
20 - Go on vacation with a group of friends

21 - Relaunch my blog
22 - Make jewelries to sell

ON MY MIND

i am linking to one of my favorite blog at http://www.down---to---earth.blogspot.com/ and "on my mind" today is my projects and things need to be done in the house.

We moved in to our new house in April 2011 and so much need to be done in order for us to call it a HOME. We did little bit of renovation (extended the kithchen,moved the toilet to the back and extended our porch) and lastly we put the L box plaster ceiling as above.

I am taking my own sweet time to do DIY projects for the house as we are going to stay here LONG as it's now our very  own house ..LOL. Second, we are currently in the middle of learning on how to life simple and maximize our quality of life by budgeting our financial without spending like there's no tomorrow like we used to do..

My projects will include sewings projects and few other DIY deco. I would love to have a fake fireplace in our house before Christmas day. I always dream of having a fireplace in our house to make it more homely and cozy.

TH has been asking me to put the magnetic netting on our windows to prevent insects to come into the house. I am the DIY person in the house so it is just natural the task is given to me. hahaha....

until then, take care. I will try to update our blog since my friend Lady V is a very busy entrepreneur recently.
